Owl Prowl, Stargazing, and Storytelling at Thomas Stone National Historic Site

Location: Thomas Stone National Historic Site, 6655 Rose Hill Road, Port Tobacco, MD
Time: 6:30pm
Thomas Stone NHS is proud to announce a special event entitled, Owl Prowl, Stargazing and Storytelling. Refreshments will be provided; dress for being out- doors.
6:30-Safety Orientation at Visitor Center.
7:00-Star Gazing at cemetery
7:30-True Tales and Local Legends storytelling around the campfire led by NPS staff.
8:00-Owl Prowl led by NPS Volunteer Michael Callahan
In case of inclement weather, the storytelling and nature program will be moved into the Visitor Center.

Thomas Stone National Historic Site will be open for this event from 10:00 a.m. until 9:00 p.m.
Interpretive house tours will be offered on the hour and half-hour starting at 10:00 a.m. until 4:30 p.m.

The park contains the restored home of Thomas Stone, outbuildings and cemetery.  A Visitor Center features exhibits highlighting Southern Maryland, a sales area and restrooms. Admission to the park is free. Parking is available at the Visitor Center.
