Commissioners Observe 97th Anniversary of Veterans Day

On Tuesday, Oct. 31, the Board of Commissioners issued a proclamation encouraging all residents to observe Veterans Day on Saturday, Nov. 11 and to acknowledge the tremendous debt owed to those who have served, continue to serve, and veterans’ families who make tremendous sacrifices. On this 97th anniversary of Veterans Day, Charles County joins with the nation to honor those men and women who have proudly served our country. The County Commissioners further call upon all residents and businesses to mark this day with the proud display of the flag of the United States of America as a reaffirmation of national unity.
