PHOTO RELEASE: Commissioners Recognize Oct. 6 as World Cerebral Palsy Day

On Tuesday, Oct. 3, the Board of Commissioners proclaimed Friday, Oct. 6 as World Cerebral Palsy Day in Charles County. Cerebral Palsy is the most common childhood physical disability, affecting an average of one in every 500 people. The County Commissioners encourage residents to continue to spread awareness and support The Arc Southern Maryland, which for more than 40 years, has advocated for those with disabilities, including Cerebral Palsy.
