County Volunteer Fire and EMS Coordinate Donations
For Immediate Release
News Release # 2020-041
The Department of Emergency Services and the Charles County Volunteer Fire and Emergency Medical Services Departments throughout our county are discouraging visitors from visiting their local fire and EMS departments out of concerns for our community. If you have an emergency that requires our direct attention, call 9-1-1. We appreciate the donations we have received and are working to coordinate donations. Residents and businesses that wish to donate are asked to call 301-609-3435 or email: DESdonations@CharlesCountyMD.gov.
The Department of Emergency Services and the Charles County Volunteer Fire and EMS stations continue to stand ready to respond to all emergency and non-emergency calls for service. The volunteer leadership is playing a key role in participating daily with the Charles County’s Emergency Operations Center to ensure that as a County we continue to provide the best service to our citizens.
While we continue to go through these unprecedented times, it is reassuring to see how our community can come together in a time of need. Thank you to all our residents and businesses who continue to support all first responders during this pandemic.
