 PROPERTY TAX CREDIT FOR VOLUNTEER EMERGENCY RESPONDERS

                        Introduction by Charles County Commissioners

For the purpose of increasing the tax credit applied against the property tax imposed on the owner-occupied residence of certain emergency responders or their surviving spouses. By amending: Chapter 281-27.2 Tax – Credit for Volunteer Emergency Responders Code of Charles County, Maryland (2025 Edition)

Bill 2026-05 becomes effective: July 1, 2026
