Conspiracy - The Talk of Port Tobacco - Come take a walk around Port Tobacco Village, a Maryland port town that was a hotbed of Confederate activity and where residents may have been involved in the conspiracy. Learn about one of the conspirators who lived and owned a business here.
Days/Hours of Operation:  Regular hours Thursday through Monday (10 a.m. to 4 p.m.); 
Winter hours from January 1 - March 31, 2017, open First Friday weekends and by appointment.

On the Trail of the Assassin - On April 14, 1865 John Wilkes Booth, the assassin, rode on horseback with co-conspirator David Herold to Dr. Mudd’s home in the early hours of April 15th  for splinting of his fractured leg before continuing his escape. 
Days/Hours of Operation: Regular hours Wednesdays and Saturdays: 11 a.m. - 4 p.m. | Sundays: noon - 4 p.m. (Tours start on the hour and half-hour, and the last tour begins at 3:30 p.m.)

Rich Hill 
Historic Rich Hill, home of Samuel Cox during the Civil War, was the site where John Wilkes Booth and David Herold hid in a pine thicket on his property for four days following Lincoln’s assassination.  Come see the exterior of the historic house and read from our new interpretive panel about the owners of Rich Hill.
