Administrative Business: Approval of April 2019 drafted meeting minutes. Thomas Wathen motioned to approve meeting minutes as written. Seconded by John San Luis. All in favor. None opposed.
1. Karl Grebe, Journeyman #89, requested to attend to address concerns of ruling of non- reciprocation of Grandfathered licenses. Any and all Grandfathered Journeyman licenses provided by this Board do not reciprocate with no exception. Mr. Grebe will contact Secretary to advise if taking the September 2019 Journeyman exam.
2. Secretary provided applications, fees and by laws from Md State and another MD jurisdictions to appraise and compare to CCEB fees and Rules and Regulations. This was deferred to be discussed at the June 2019 meeting
3. Lavon Green, requested to attend this meeting to review failed March 2019 Journeyman exam did not show.
4. Due to “Energov” program, the renewal process has been altered and we have mailed out a notice to each Active Journeyman. The notice asked for an email address to be sent to our email@example.com address. Once provided, Sue will provide the instructions to process, renew and update their license once the email is entered the CSS Portal. The notices were mailed out in March 2019. (504)

Update: meeting held 05/06/2019 to include Ray Shumaker, Chief CPIS, Don Litten, Building Code Official, Liz Theobalds, Assistant County Attorney and Sue Cecil, Secretary to discuss Journeyman applicants with application issues.
Our IT Department is working with Sue to provide continued help to our Journeyman updating contacts and renewing licenses.
Motion was made by Thomas Wathen to adjourn the meeting. Seconded by John San Luis. All in favor. None opposed.
