Approval of July 2018 drafted meeting minutes. Thomas Wathen motioned to approve meeting minutes as written.Seconded by Willie Zapata. All in favor. None opposed.
Pertaining to our concerns with the State Legislative Committee:
Nothing new to provide.
Homeowners Permit application: Donald Barr- approved by Willie Zapata with discussion of Don Litten.Proposed electrical scope of work allowed to be performed by Homeowner’s Electrical Permit, with no entry to the panel box. Don Litten will address work done without permits.
Journeyman exam applications:
Melkeys Martinez – approved by Willie Zapata.
Montey Willison- sent in a letter requesting that be reinstated, his license expired in 2007 and was grandfathered in.The Board said that he could sit for the exam in September, he needs to get his application and payment in.John Zanelotti stated that when application is in he would come by and approve.
Claude Jackson - sent in a letter requesting that be reinstated, his license was not renewed by June 30.The Board said that he could sit for the exam in September, he needs to get his application and payment in.John Zanelotti stated that when application is in he would come by and approve.
Master exam application:
Henry Weiss (restricted) – approved by John San Luis.
We will need to provide updated exams NEC 2017 for September testing.
Motion was made by Willie Zapata to adjourn the meeting. Seconded by Thomas Wathen. All in favor. None opposed.
