Charles County Tree Planting Grant
Rolling DeadlineThe Charles County Tree Planting Grant Program aims to implement tree planting projects throughout the County that increase tree canopy in both urban and rural spaces.
Tree planting projects that can increase forest habitat, improve water quality, and provide a natural cooling system while supporting the health and wellbeing of residents and local ecosystems.
The program is designed to help improve the health of local watersheds while expanding the environmental and community benefits provided by trees and healthy forests.

Deadline: September 3, 2026The Outreach and Restoration Grant Program is a partnership between the Chesapeake Bay Trust and Charles County. The program supports outreach, community engagement, and on-the-ground restoration projects that increase knowledge, change behavior, and accelerate stewardship of natural resources.
Projects should involve residents in restoring local green spaces, waterways, and other natural resources throughout Maryland.
