County Government Announces Agreement with Wee Bean Coffee Roasters

County Government Announces Agreement with Wee Bean Coffee Roasters

The Board of County Commissioners is pleased to announce a formal agreement has been reached with Wee Bean Coffee Roasters that will allow them to host a mobile coffee store on the Charles County Government parking lot throughout the week. The agreement includes county approval for its mobile operations and proof of the store’s liability insurance coverage to ensure public safety.

“Charles County welcomes locally-owned businesses of all kinds and appreciates the unique services that Wee Bean provides.,” said Economic Development Director Darréll Brown.

County Administrator Michael D. Mallinoff, Esq., ICMA-CM said, “It is a popular gathering spot to purchase a morning cup of coffee or take an afternoon coffee break for all who work and live here.”

Wee Bean Coffee Roasters is a small batch coffee roastery located in Southern Maryland, specializing in sustainably farmed, organic and fair-trade coffees. The mobile store currently participates in the La Plata Farmer’s Market on Wednesdays and Saturdays.
