When a holiday falls on a regular recycling collection day, pickups will shift by one day for the rest of the week, with Saturday being the final pickup day. If your normal pickup day falls on or after a listed holiday, it will move to the next day. The schedule returns to normal the following week.

Affected Pickup Days:

• Wednesday, Jan 1 (New Year's Day) → Pickup moves to Thursday, Jan 2, and so on through Saturday.

• Monday, Jan 20 (Martin Luther King Jr. Day) → Pickup moves to Tuesday, Jan 21, and so on through Saturday.

• Monday, May 26 (Memorial Day) → Pickup moves to Tuesday, May 27, and so on through Saturday.

• Friday, July 4 (Independence Day) → Only Friday pickups move to Saturday, July 5.

• Monday, Sept (Labor Day) → Pickup moves to Tuesday, Sept 2, and so on through Saturday.

• Thursday, Nov 27 (Thanksgiving Day) → Pickup moves to Friday, Nov 28, with Friday pickups moving to Saturday.

• Thursday, Dec 25 (Christmas Day) → Pickup moves to Friday, Dec 26, with Friday pickups moving to Saturday.

Saturday is the final collection day for the week, so if your pickup was originally scheduled for Friday, it will be moved to Saturday. If your collection day is before the holiday, your schedule remains the same.
